The nice words coming from politicians from the European Union are fine, but if they really think so well of us, they should remove the bilateral dispute with Bulgaria from the negotiating framework for Macedonia, said the leader of opposition VMRO-DPMNE Hristijan Mickoski in an interview with Kanal 5 TV.

Mickoski, regarding the statement made by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, pointed out that “we have seen such kind words and such charms for more than two decades since our path to the EU began with the signing of the Stabilization and Association Agreement, or more than three decades since we became an independent country, but they always demand concessions from us.”

“Always in the name of that future we made some concessions and we are always the ones who as people, state, politicians have to accept, to give something in the name of that European future, The thesis that Chancellor Scholz, his point is that he does not want new demands , I believe that he doesn’t want new demands, I also believe that Borrell doesn’t want them, but I know who wants to and they called a few days before, Iotova and Radev who said that this is just opening the door to issues, and then there are many more issues that have been accepted, and which are part of the Agreement and protocol,” said Mickoski.
