The mayor of the Butel municipality Darko Kostovski said Saturday in social media post that he received threats to his life yesterday, but said that they will not scare him nor change his mind.
“Yesterday I received a direct threat, I quote: if you continue like this, you’ll end up with a broken neck.
This was pointed out by the councilor in the municipality of Butel, a representative of the political party Alternativa, at yesterday’s session of the Council, he was reading a letter written by someone else and addressed me in such a way.
“When I asked him what it meant, he began to repeat that it was a metaphor”, said the mayor.
