The Minister of Foreign Affairs Bujar Osmani said that there are people in the opposition VMRO-DPMNE who support the constitutional amendments and announced that they will talk to them.
Osmani says he is optimistic that the opportunities with VMRO-DPMNE are not completely exhausted and there is still hope. He said that there is enough sense from people who understand the moment and that they will not play the card of the Bulgarian radicals.
“I see signals within VMRO-DPMNE of an ideological division. There are people in that party, according to my information, who believe that we must not miss the chance now in the Constitution to make that clear distinction that Bulgarians are a minority here. Two paths open up. One is fast and the other is countries with open questions. It depends on us which path we will enter,” said Osmani.
