With the amendment of the rules, women prisoners in the Idrizovo State Prison started using the right to weekend leave.
Prison warden Zoran Jovanovski indicated that they use the privileges as needed. Among them is former Interior Minister Gordana Jankuloska, who has been behind bars for almost three years, without being able to go out to see her son and spend a short time with her family.
Jovanovski indicated that he received five requests for using these privileges.
