The visit to Brussels was extremely successful and promotional, where people from the EU and EPP wanted to get to know the party leader Mickoski and the leadership because VMRO-DPMNE is seen as the party that will lead the next Macedonian government, the vice-president of VMRO-DPMNE Aleksandar Nikoloski told Republika.mk in an interview on Sunday.
“The people are sick of hearing “just this one more little thing”. For 30 years, Macedonians and Macedonia have heard only this. The first name change in the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia by Kiro Gligorov was that it would last only six months and since then it has been “just this one more little thing”. Just the name, just the flag, then the Constitution, then the Good Neighborliness Treaty with Bulgaria, etc. People’s lives have gone by hearing this. Enough is enough, we have to put a full stop. We are all aware that Macedonia has no intention of putting an end to it, and that’s why we need to put an end to it once and for all, so that it is always known that there will be no concessions,” said Nikoloski.
