The police arrested 19 Macedonian citizens and one Greek national last weekend at the D music festival in Dojran, and a variety of drugs were found with them.
The Ministry of Interior (MoI) did not announce the type and quantity of drugs that were seized.
“During the weekend (June 1, 2023), police officers from the Department for Illicit Trafficking in Drugs, Firearms and Dangerous Substances at the Criminal Police Department in coordination and joint action with the Strumica Police Department and the Unit for Illicit Drug Trafficking at the Skopje Police Department, took extra measures during the music event in Star Dojran. A variety of drugs were found among twenty detainees. The competent public prosecutor from the PPO – Gevgelija was immediately notified, and after their complete documentation, appropriate reports will be submitted,” said the MoI.
