According to the director of Public Revenue Office (PRO), Sanja Lukarevska, in four years through the “My VAT” app, over 6.6 billion denars or 107.5 million euros have been returned to the citizens. In this period, according to the structure of the users, 293,348 are women and 245,571 are men, and in a dozen cities in Macedonia, citizens mostly scan fiscal accounts.
The top ten cities are: Shtip, Valandovo, Kichevo, Bitola, Veles, Skopje, Prilep, Kochani, Negotino and Gevgelija. The most scanned receipts are from chain markets and gas stations, and the most numerous among the users are those aged 31 to 50, reports Vecher.mk.
“My VAT is a successful project with which 6.6 billion denars or 107.5 million euros have been returned to the citizens in four years,” informed the PRO head Sanja Lukarevska.
