Last night it was tense in the premises of Skopje Communal Hygiene public enterprise. For three days now, employees refuse to work and collect garbage around Skopje. As they say, they are boycotting because the PE head Mazneva did not extend the contracts of hundreds of whom she says have been unemployed for years, some of them have not come to work for years at all, and are hired on a contract through party connections.
At a press conference on Saturday, the director of PE Communal Hygiene, Kosava Mazneva, said that she will not tolerate non-working and manipulative party soldiers and that she will not renew the contracts of about 200 of them.
