The Municipality of Centar is alerting the City of Skopje about the full garbage containers and overflowing garbage cans, due to the protest of the PE Communal Hygiene – Skopje. A large number of citizens complained today about the unhygienic and unbearable smell that spreads due to the overflowing containers on the boulevards and streets of the capital. The Municipality of Centar appeals for an immediate response from the City of Skopje, under whose jurisdiction is the Municipal Hygiene state-owned enterprise.
“We warn that the authorities from the City should not seek excuses but act immediately, the high temperatures outside make things even worse when the capital is littered with garbage. Citizens pay the communal tax and demand a clean city,” said the municipality.
