A Center for dealing with and treating obesity has been opened at the University Clinic for Endocrinology in Skopje.
“Obesity is a serious global health issue and there is a worrying trend of growth worldwide and nationwide. It is necessary to have an integrated center to which these patients will be referred for treatment. It is precisely because of this that we in our country will have a reference center for diagnosing and treating obesity,” said the Macedonian Minister of Health FatmirMexhti during his visit to the Clinic on Thursday.
