A new scandal is shaking the Government led byDimitarKovachevski and Ali Ahmeti with massive wiretapping of the citizens of Macedonia, VMRO-DPMNE said in a press release on Monday.
“After VMRO-DPMNE informed that the director of OTA made an illegal purchase of eavesdropping equipment without permission from the Ministry of the Interior and compliance with the Regulations of the Agency, and Kovachevski as Prime Minister must give his consent to the same, the government of SDS and DUI is shaken by a new scandal. Namely, the media reports that now the Macedonian OTA had a draft agreement with the Greek intelligence service for the use of illegal eavesdropping software called Predator. And according to the information, even the head of the espionage of Greece confirmed that there is a draft agreement on the use of spyware by Macedonia,” said the largest opposition party.
