The Macedonian Ministry of Economy urges all citizens in the country to regularly settle their bills towards energy companies. Minister Kreshnik Bekteshi says that all citizens that use electricity in the country have the duty to pay for electricity as much as they have consumed.

“The Ministry is creating an environment in order to reduce losses in transmission and distribution of electricity as well as unauthorized use of electricity. That’s why we urge for each citizen to pay what they spent. We call on all institutions to act in accordance with their competences and to solve the problem of electricity supply in Slupchane and in the surrounding villages and to enable the work of EVN Macedonia’s teams,” said Bekteshi.
