Spasovski: More attackers have been identified since the Chair incident

Twenty-one people were arrested before the football match between Levski and Shkupi, and for the incident in Chair, where one person was injured, several attackers were identified and soon the details of this incident will be announced, said the Minister of Interior Oliver Spasovski on Friday.

“It was a high risk match. From the beginning to its completion, we had practically no incident. When entering, there was a group of fans who came from neighboring Bulgaria and who practically behaved violently towards members of the Macedonian police. A total of 21 people were detained, of which 19 Bulgarian citizens and two Macedonians who were part of the Shkupi fan group,” said Spasovski in a press briefing.

The minister pointed out that the Macedonian police was organized for this match with a sign of high risk and therefore the fans from Bulgaria who arrived at the Deve Bair border crossing were taken and brought to the football stadium in a police cordon. For the incident in Chair, according to him, there were probably fans that arrived in several vehicles.
