DUI resignations should not be taken seriously. The procedures have no substance and they say the resignations would have been valid if the opposition had voted for the constitutional amendments. The resignations would then be effective. Formally, such a thing does not exist, said leader of VMRO-DPMNE Hristijan Mickoski during a political show on Alfat TV Tuesday evening.
Mickoski pointed out that Dimitar Kovachevski had two offers, the validity of the constitutional amendments when Macedonia becomes an EU member state and the dissolution of the Parliament and the request for guarantees.
“To DUI, it is especially important that VMRO-DPMNE wins as less MPs as possible so that we are unable to form a government without DUI,” Mickoski pointed out.
