On August 2, Republic Day-Ilinden, Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski will address a ceremony at the Kale Fortress in Skopje, Parliament Speaker Talat Xhaferi will attend a celebration at Mechkin Kamen in Krushevo, and President Stevo Pendarovski will speak at the ASNOM Memorial Center in Pelince.
The leader of the opposition VMRO-DPMNE, Hristijan Mickoski, will lead a party delegation in Krushevo, where, according to announcements, he will make a statement to the media at 11 a.m.
Tuesday’s event “Ten Days Krushevo Republic” marks the official start of the observances of 120 years from the Ilinden Uprising and the Krushevo Republic, including an address by PM Kovachevski.
