The Macedonian Parliament Speaker, TalatXhaferi, was booed along with the government delegation, upon arrival at MechkinKamen. As they made their way to where they were to be seated, from behind the barricades where the visitors were standing, they shouted “Boo boo” and whistled.
By chanting “Macedonia, Macedonia” the horsemen who arrived in Krushevo were greeted, paying respect and continuing the tradition. Then patriotic songs were sung. “Never North, only Macedonia” is also chanted.
The leader of the opposition VMRO-DPMNE, HristijanMickoski, as well as the leader of Levica, DimitarApasiev, were also attending the Ilinden event atMechkinKamen.
