While we hear daily in the media that there is a lack of medicines for different categories of patients, the competent institutions that have announced at least 10 times that they have formed a Commission for a positive list, however in practice there are not even enough basic medicines, let alone new and modern medicines on the positive list, Igor Nikolov, chair of the VMRO-DPMNE Health Commission, told a press conference on Sunday.
“The Government forgot the key pre-election promises, among which a medicine at any time for every patient and new quality medicines, hiding behind European standards, forgot about the patients, their treatment and the promises made to them,” said Nikolov.
