Twenty-two years will be marked since the death of eight members of the reserve composition of the Army of the Republic of Macedonia, near the locality of Ljubotenski Bachila.
On August 10, 2001, a military truck hit a mine on the road near Ljubotenski Bachila, and Tome Badarovski, Goce Chankulovski, Branko Janev, Tomislav Nastevski, Marjancho Boskovski, Ivica Zlatevski, Tome Dimovski and Rade Jankovski, members of the Army reserve team, lost their lives.
On the occasion, the leader of VMRO-DPMNE, Hristijan Mickoski, said that heroes live forever today.
“Twenty-two years since the death of the defenders near Ljubotenski Bachila. Heroes live forever. Their sacrifice will not be forgotten. Eternal glory to them,” said Mickoski.
