Today we are observing 22 years from the signing of the Ohrid Framework Agreement, which brought peace and ensured continued development of the societal cohesion and the European concept of unity in diversities, said Macedonian Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski on Sunday.
“N. Macedonia is a country-model for a functional, sustainable multiethnic democracy that practices European values. We are a society that guarantees equal rights and obligations for all ethnic communities – Macedonians, Albanians, Turks, Serbs, Vlachs, Roma, Bosniaks and all other communities that consider this country to be their home. It is a home we will continue to build in the spirit of mutual care and commitment. Our homeland is a Europe in a nutshell, and respecting diversities is our advantage, of which we are especially proud,” Kovachevski said in Facebook post.
