In a post on his official Facebook account, the mayor of the municipality of Gazi Baba,BobanStefkovski, informed about an organized action between the municipality and the Ministry of Interior to close a construction site where construction of illegal construction on land owned by the Republic of Macedonia has started. In the post, Stefkovski wrote: I WILL NOT ALLOW ILLEGAL CONSTRUCTION IN GAZI BABA!
“THERE IS NO COMPROMISE WITH LAW ENFORCEMENT! LET THE URBAN MAFIA LOOK FOR A PLACE OUTSIDE OF GAZI BABA!”
In an organized action Monday morning, the Department for Inspection Works of Gazi Baba Municipality, along with representatives from the Ministry of Interior, closed the construction site in the town of Indjikovo. On land owned by the Republic of N. Macedonia, the construction of a building without proper documentation has been started in the past period.
