The VMRO-DPMNE and the “Renewal of Macedonia” MP group had a regular coordination Wednesday this time before the session itself, where the point for constitutional amendments was proposed. The VMRO-DPMNE MP group remains on the continuous position that amendments to the Constitution in this format under Bulgarian dictation are not possible and we will not support it, VMRO-DPMNE MP group coordinator Nikola Micevski told a press conference on Wednesday.
“Our position was also expressed to the Commission for Constitutional Amendments, where we argued that the Government is pushing a process that is not supported by the citizens. We will repeat the same in the plenary session. This session will be a good opportunity to assure the entire public that the government has been lying, manipulating and spreading fog about the constitutional amendments for a whole year and that they are not even close to constitutional amendments. This means that the government is exposed and has no other trump card than lies and manipulations,” Micevski pointed out.
