Albanians in Macedonia should not be held hostage by a few people on the way to the EU, said the independent MP SkenderRexhepi-Zejd, warning that in the near future it could happen that some Albanian municipalities start looking for the way to the EU.
“Albanians do not dispute the identity and language of the Macedonian people, but other demands may occur in the near future, where Albanian municipalities may seek the path to the EU. We should have responsibility in the Parliament. The historical problems between Macedonians and Bulgarians will remain and we cannot solve them with MPs but with historians. The horizons of the state in the Union should be opened,” said Rexhepi.
