Lake police rescued five people from a sailboat at Lake Ohrid

Police officers from the Ohrid Lake Border Surveillance Police Station rescued five people from a sailboat in Ohrid Lake, after the owner of the sailboat lost control of the vessel due to the storm.
“Acting on a report received around 7 p.m. at the Ohrid police department that in the waters of Lake Ohrid, the owner of a boat-sailboat, on which four other people were being transported, lost control due to the storm and due to the breaking of the stern sheet, police officers of the Police Station for border surveillance – Ohrid Lake immediately went to the field and around 7:25 p.m. they found the sailboat about 7000 meters from the shore of the lake, near the border with the Republic of Albania,” the Ministry of Interior informed.
