The two largest parties continued their correspondence about who is for integration into the European Union and who is for the isolation of Macedonia. VMRO-DPMNE accuses the government of buying time by prolonging the voting for constitutional amendments, while SDSM says that the leader of the opposition is an anti-EU politician.
The opposition VMRO-DPMNE said in a press release that Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski is holding Macedonia hostage because of his seat and that elections are the only solution. They say that the prime minister claimed for more than a year that VMRO-DPMNE accepted constitutional amendments, and all those lies were defaced on Friday when it turned out that not only did they not have 80 MPs, SDSM did not even have 70 MPs.
On the other hand, SDSM says that by not voting, it became clear that Hristijan Mickoski is an “anti-EU” politician and that he showed that he is the same as his mentor, the former PM and leader of VMRO-DPMNE, Nikola Gruevski, who, as the ruling party says, he kept the country in isolation for 11 years, outside the EU and outside NATO
