The average monthly net salary paid per employee in June of this year is MKD 36,527 and compared to June last year it has increased by 14.6 percent, the State Statistics Office (SSO) announced on Monday.
The increase is primarily due to the growth of the average monthly paid net salary in the following sectors: Construction (19.6 percent), Information and Communications (17.9 percent) and Education (17.5 percent).
An increase per employee, compared to the previous month, was observed in the following sectors: Wholesale and retail trade; motor vehicle and motorcycle repair (6.3 percent), Mining and quarrying (5.7 percent), and Accommodation and food service activities (3.2 percent).
