Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić in a media address Tuesday touched upon North Macedonia yet again, urging Serbian officials to be more cautious when making statements in order to avoid saying something that could be used by others.
“I saw Dimitar Kovachevski’s strong reaction to Albin Kurti over what he did in Tetovo. [He reacted] Very strongly, publicly and openly. And I want to ask our officials, even when they don’t have the intentions, to be careful, to avoid saying something that could be used by others to make us the same as Kurti,” Vučić said.
The Serbian President said that on Monday he had a long conversation with Kovachevski during which he told the Macedonian Prime Minister that he apologizes if anyone in North Macedonia feels offended over anything, although he said he personally thinks there is no reason for that.
