VMRO-DPMNE leader HristijanMickoski, asked whether the Government should declare a natural disaster in agriculture as requested by the National Farmers Network, pointed out that the government will not do that because there is still no channel for signing contracts tête-à-tête and to rob the citizens.
“They will not declare a state of crisis in agriculture because there is still no channel to sign contracts tête-à-tête and how and in what way to steal from citizens… That’s why farmers from Pelagonija cannot sell their wheat at the price at which it costs them to produce it, that is, they sell it for twice as low or it rots in the barns,” said Mickoski.
The opposition leader stressed that the situation in agriculture was catastrophic in the entire country and added that the positive thing in this whole situation was that in a few months the government led by VMRO-DPMNE will come which intends to seriously deal with farmers and agriculture as one of the first priorities.
