Elections are absolutely necessary, we have been saying this for a long time and we always say it with facts and arguments. We were often accused of wanting to reach elections at any cost. But they forget that they offered a caretaker government, VMRO-DPMNE to enter the Government only to approve the constitutional amendments, but it was confirmed that VMRO-DPMNE is not for useless power and authority to be at the head of the state, pointed out the VMRO-DPMNE deputy leader and MP Vlado Misajlovski in an interview with Alfa TV.

The opposition official added that what was happening now was harmful, because 80 percent of the citizens were against the constitutional amendments.

“What Bulgaria is looking for is a kind of assimilation towards the Macedonian people, but the Macedonians themselves have resistance against all that and that’s why 80 percent are against it. The government feels the resistance not only from politicians, journalists, but also citizens and the entire nation. They are aware that elections are needed, but they are running away for one reason only, and that reason is to stay in power as long as possible for their personal needs, tenders, crimes, what has enriched them for the past 7 years, but the most important thing is to stay one more day in order to save their political career”, pointed out Misajlovski.
