Fire breaks out on the border with Greece near Dojran,at least 4 WWI grenadesexplode

A large open fire broke out Thursday afternoon on the border with Greece, between Bogdanci and Dojran, where at least 4 grenades from World War I exploded.

Head of the Center for Crisis Management, StojancheAngelov, who immediately went to the scene of the fire, reported that the fire spread in the village of Selemli, but crossed the line on which many unexploded mines from the First World War remained.

The fire is also moving towards Greek territory. For the case, the Greek emergency line was notified so that they would be ready to start extinguishing the fire on their side.
