Two men kidnapped the former interior minister’s nephew to pay for the drugs he stole

The indictment against two people for kidnapping and aiding in kidnapping, which the Public Prosecutor’s Office (PPO) filed Friday, refers to the kidnapping and holding hostage of Samoil Kostadinovski, nephew of the former Minister of Interior and leader of the United for Macedonia, Ljube Boshkoski.

On March 3, 2023, the first accused, along with the person who is on the run and other unknown persons, kidnapped Samoil, threatening to kill him.

“Their intention was to make the victim pay for a previously stolen narcotic drug – heroin in the amount of 4 kilograms,” the Prosecutor’s Office said Friday.
