Macedonian nationals stranded after storms in flooded areas in Greece


The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is in continued communication with the Macedonian nationals who were stranded in the areas affected by the storms, namely Agios Ioannis on the east coast of Pelion in Magnesia, Greece.

Fifteen Macedonian nationals are safe and sound. Our diplomats are in continued communication and local authorities, the MFA said in a press release.

Roads are being cleared across Greece, whereas authorities are undertaking measures to supply the regions with food and water. Electricity supply has already been restored.
