For me, the information was shocking when I read that the company Eurovia is the main subcontractor of Corridor 8 of the company Bechtel-Enka. The Eurovia company, as it was publicly stated, has a well-founded suspicion that it received a tender from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the remodeling of the Boris Trajkovski sports center in a suspicious manner, and for the needs of an event organized by the Minister of Foreign Affairs at the end of the year. And that same company or a company related to this company appears as one of the donors of the Democratic Union for Integration party, says the party leader of VMRO-DPMNE, Hristijan Mickoski, when asked to comment on the fact that the DUI donor company, which received a tender from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs headed by Bujar Osmani, the Bechtel-Enka consortium has now been chosen as the main subcontractor for the construction of Corridor 8.
And what is even more shocking for me, Mickoski added, is that in conditions where Macedonia is at the lowest level in the rule of law, and at the highest level in terms of the degree of corruption and the degree of crime, we have a company that in a certain way defies the representatives of the international community, who were there yesterday as well, but I assume that a large number of representatives of the international community also see it.
