The Ministry of Justice informed on Saturday that it will supervise the system for electronic distribution of cases in Public Prosecutor’s Offices. In connection with that, the Draft Law for the amendment of the Law on Public Prosecution will be published on ENER, adds the ministry.
“The adoption of the Law on Supplementing the Law on Public Prosecutor’s Office stems from the need to strengthen the mechanisms for electronic distribution of cases in public prosecutor’s offices and it specifies the competence of the authorities and bodies determined by the law to exercise supervision,” said the Ministry of Justice.
According to the ministry, the proposed amendment is in accordance with “the basic intention of the Government for membership in the European Union” and is in “the spirit of reforms in the area of justice and its further advancement”.
