The Macedonian Minister of Economy KreshnikBekteshi, informed Wednesday via Facebook that the prices of non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages will be reduced by 10% in the coming period.
“Decreasing the prices of non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages! Today I received several letters from our domestic producers of mineral water, juices, and beer who informed me that they are voluntarily participating in the “GUARANTEED PRICE” campaign with a minimum 10% price reduction,” reads Bekteshi’s Facebook post.
The Government decided on Tuesday to reduce and freeze the prices of 24 categories of food products. As of Wednesday, the prices of a hundred products will be capped at the price they had on August 1, reduced by 10 percent.
