Pendarovski presents Order of the Republic of N. Macedonia to the UN in New York

Macedonian President Stevo Pendarovski presented on Friday afternoon an Order of the Republic of North Macedonia to the United Nations on the sidelines of the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York.

Pendarovski presented the UN Secretary General António Guterres with the award, which is given for the great assistance and support of the UN in dealing with the consequences of the devastating Skopje earthquake and for the invaluable contribution to the reconstruction of the city of Skopje, which became a city of solidarity and a true symbol of friendship between nations, President’s Office in a press release.

Pendarovski met the UN Secretary General António Guterres and discussed the overall activities of the Republic of North Macedonia within the framework of the United Nations, as well as the role of the organization in tackling global challenges.
