Due to damage from the fires in the Bitola-Prilep region, trains are not running on the Skopje-Bitola-Skopje railway.
The Railways announced that about 1,000 railway tracks were destroyed, and at the moment intensive work is being done to repair the defect.
For now, there is no information on when the railway can be expected to be put into operation again, that is, to be equipped for the safe running of railway traffic.
