In retail trade, in August this year compared to August last year, looking at groups and classes, an increase in turnover was observed only at the nominal rate in the group Retail trade with non-food products, except fuel by 3.9 percent.
As announced by the State Statistics Office, the other groups saw a drop in both the nominal and real rates in: Retail trade in food, beverages and tobacco (nominally by 4.7 percent and real by 12.9 percent), Retail trade, except fuel trade (nominally by 0.6 percent, and real by 8.2 percent) and in Retail trade with automotive fuels (nominally by 18.8 percent, and real by 9.8 percent).
