Walk & Talk events kick off – raising awareness of mental health

The Walk & Talk events, organized under the initiative of the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy with the support of UNICEF, and in cooperation with the Institute for Good Governance and Euro-Atlantic Perspectives, aim to raise awareness of mental health among adolescents and their families.

The Macedonian Minister of Labor and Social Policy JovankaTrenchevska, and the representative of UNICEF Patricia DiGiovanni, along with representatives from the scouts and young people, walked along a previously planned walking route in Strumica. Trenchevska told the media that the topic of mental health should be quite topical among young people. That’s why the ministry gets involved in events that will encourage awareness of mental health.
