For those who want to move forward, the doors of the European Union are open, said the President of the European Commission (EC) Ursula von der Leyen on Monday, before the start of the Summit of the Berlin Process held in Tirana.
The EC head stated that one of the main topics of the Summit will be the economy of the Western Balkans and pointed to her growth plan presented earlier this year which, among other things, envisages giving the countries of the region access to the common European market.
But for that, as Von der Leyen said, reforms are needed in the countries of the Western Balkans.
