By next week, there should be working material for the legal solution for the correction of officials’ wages. After a discussion was opened in the Government yesterday, a working group from the economic departments should prepare a durable solution that will not be annulled by the Constitutional Court. Macedonian Prime Minister DimitarKovachevskisaid Wednesday.
The PM said that there cannot be one coefficient for calculation, because different office holders from different areas have different coefficients. Kovachevski reminded that the increase in officials’ wages by 78 percent was made based on the decision of the Constitutional Court in March of this year, which canceled the provision for freezing the basic salaries of 1050 elected and appointed officials.
