The Skopje – Negotino passenger train hit an iron object Saturday night that fell on the track from another train, during which the passengers traveled for six hours.
“Everything was fine until the train driver, who has more experience and was driving slowly in the tunnel in front of Veles, did not notice the iron object that supposedly fell from another train and started braking, but since the train is heavy we hit the iron object, which we could to be thrown off the railroad tracks. Several blows were heard, I thought we might be thrown off the track, but we braked and most of the train remained in the tunnel, only the front part where the driver’s cabin is was out of the tunnel,” one of the passengers said.
