The European Politics Institute- Skopje (EPI) analyzes that compared to last year, the assessment of the readiness to undertake the obligations of membership is higher in only one chapter. According to the EPI, this is to be expected, given the Commission’s approach over the past decade. Progress ratings, as written in the analysis, are weaker than last year, so instead of “some progress”, the dominant rating is no progress or “limited” progress.
In the analysis of the European Commission for N. Macedonia “Negotiations’ Fundamentals Shaken” EPI assesses that what should especially concern us are the evaluations in the judiciary and the fight against corruption as key areas on which the overall course of negotiations depends as part of the Foundations cluster.
