There is no room for interventions regarding the caretaker government model (so-called Przhino-government) at these elections, since we are a too close to the election date to change the rules of the game at the last minute, said Foreign Minister and DUI deputy leader Bujar Osmani.
Osmani told a press briefing the model cannot change for these elections, and it is very important to reach consensus among parties at the coming meeting in December if elections are held in parallel or separately.
According to him, DUI has still not decided whether it would agree on a model change.
“As deputy party leader, I would agree that the Przhino-style government is scrapped for the subsequent elections but not these elections. We are simply too close to the election date to change the rules of the game at the last minute. For these elections, we will go ahead with the same rules as agreed when we formed the coalition,” said Osmani.
