There will be about 1,000 participants at the summit. This is a big operation from a security standpoint and all police units are completely ready, of course in cooperation with other institutions. I expect everything to proceed smoothly, Macedonian Minister of Interior Oliver Spasovski told reporters on Sunday.
Minister Spasovski said more than 70 delegations, headed primarily by foreign ministers, are expected to attend.
“All services are fully prepared and the department of interior, the department for the protection of certain persons, facilities, the unit for service dogs and the aviation unit are all participating within the framework of their part, of course other institutions, as well,” added Spasovski.
The 30th Ministerial Council of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) will take place on 30 November and 1 December 2023 in Skopje at the “Boris Trajkovski” sports hall.
