Academician Zhivko Popov elected new President of MANU

The Assembly of the Macedonian Academy of Sciences and Arts (MANU) elected Monday the new composition of the Presidency of MANU for the 2024-2027 period, which will be headed by Academician Zhivko Popov. The mandate of the current Presidency and President Ljupcho Kocarev ends on December 31, 2023.

The four-year report of the Presidency on the work of MANU in the 2020-2023 period was also adopted at the session, the Assembly of MANU announced on Monday.

Prof. Dr. Zivko Popov is a specialist in urology-transplantologist and is part of the team of the Skopje Acibadem Sistina Clinical Hospital.
