The new VMRO-DPMNE-led government aims to lift Macedonia out of the mud into which SDS and DUI have plunged it. Macedonia will be a stable economy with predictable tax policy and low taxes for companies that earn more, said the largest opposition party in a press release on Monday.
According to the new tax policy for declared profit up to 20 million euros, the tax will remain the same, 10%, if it is reinvested, it will remain 0%. Any company, whether domestic or foreign, if it reports a profit of 20 to 30 million euros, the tax will be 8%, from 30 to 50 million euros it will be 6%, and over 50 million euros the tax will be 5%.
With this policy, companies will be motivated to work as much as possible, but the gray economy will be demotivated as a whole. The state will offer predictability and security, both for domestic and foreign investors, added VMRO-DPMNE.
“We will profile Macedonia as a country with the lowest profit tax” reads the opposition party’s press release.
