Government adopts ninth set of anti-crisis measures worth EUR 662 million

The Government adopted Tuesday the ninth set of anti-crisis measures, which contains 26 items and will weigh 662 million euros. According to Macedonian Prime Minister DimitarKovachevski, the measures will start to apply from December 1, and some measures, depending on the payment, will start from January of this year. The measures cover 120 thousand young people, over 74 thousand socially vulnerable categories of citizens, more than 187 thousand pensioners, 40 thousand farmers, 540 thousand users of the MyVAT app, 600 thousand households, as well as more than 70 thousand companies.

“We have fulfilled everything that was requested by the Government, and the regular increase of pensions will follow in March and September next year, so I think we are moving in the right direction,” said Kovachevski.
