Eva Tavo, daughter of Vangel Tavo, former MP and former Minister of Health of Albania, died in a car accident in North Macedonia. Tavo himself confirmed the news on social media. Tavo says in his post that “these are the most difficult words he has ever written in his life”.
The news was confirmed by the Macedonian Ministry of Interior. The accident occurred in the area of the village of Laskarce, on the road from Tetovo to Skopje.
“On 28.11.2023 at 2 p.m. was reported to the Skopje Police that on the Mother Teresa highway in the direction from Tetovo to Skopje, in the area of the village of Laskarce, an Audi passenger vehicle with Albanian registration plates, which driven by Albanian citizen V.M. (40), ran off the road. The passenger E.T. (24) from the Republic of Albania died on the spot from the injuries sustained in the accident, while a doctor from the Emergency Medical Service declared her dead. The driver is seriously injured,” the Macedonian Ministry of Interior said.
