At a press conference on Thursday the spokesperson of VMRO-DPMNE Marija Miteva replied to a journalist’s question whether an official invitation was received for a leaders’ meeting on Monday and whether the party leader Mickoski will attend and insist on the abolition of the caretaker government, stressing that a leaders’ meeting is acceptable.
“A leaders’ meeting is certainly acceptable for Monday, at which we expect to finally discuss specifying the date for the elections, accepting the observations of the OSCE/ODIHR, as well as the offer to abolish the caretaker government, in exchange for not having a caretaker prime minister from the ranks of DUI. At the same time, we ask that the meeting be after 11 a.m. on Monday, because the VMRO-DPMNE leader has classes with the students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, where he works as a full-time professor,” stressed Miteva.
