Customs officers seize undeclared EUR 50,600 at Skopje Airport

Customs officers seized 50,600 euros, which a passenger did not report at the Skopje Airport customs office upon entering the country, said the Customs Administration in a press release on Thursday.

The passenger who was traveling from Istanbul at the entrance decided to pass through a green channel where people who have nothing to report pass through. The customs officials selected him for examination, and in his personal luggage foreign currency in the amount of 60,600 euros was found, the Customs Administration pointed out.
